All Things Weddings and More!

Welcome to our first blog post ever! We couldn't be more excited to share with you all the things we have learned just in the past year and what better way to do that than to share with you our experiences and the stories we have written along the way.

Speaking of firsts

Liana and Bret (pictured above) were our first out of state wedding! They were married at the historic Mildred B Cooper Chapel in Bella Vista, Arkansas, followed by a beautiful reception at Under the Woods in Jane, Missouri just a few minutes up the road.

A Night on the ranch

Under the Woods is tucked away on a hillside overlooking the countryside of Jane, Missouri. The views did not disappoint, especially this time of year. It was so fun watching two families come together as one. The dance floor was packed all night long and when you needed a break the venue staff would take you on a refreshing tour of their ranch featuring a brand new pond, horse pasture and our personal favorite detail, the donkeys.

Did someone say vintage Volkswagen photo booth?

We sure did! Bret and Liana are the most fun and free spirited couple and the personal touches they put into their special night represented who they are as individuals and the adventure that they share together. Our dashing bride and groom rented a vintage Volkswagen photo booth to capture the enjoyment of their special night. A fun spin on how to spruce up a photo booth... just make it a Volkswagen, sounds easy right? IT WAS! Das Foto Face arrived the evening of the event, set everything up and stuck around to help attendees have fun with their photo booth experience!

Sage wedding favors

Can they be any more cute and not to mention speak to our souls?! Liana added a personal touch to her wedding favors by gifting bundles of Sage to her evening guests. Beautiful to look at, heavenly to smell and so very useful! This night was hands down one for the books. Our visit to Jane and Bella Vista felt like we were living in a dream. The love this family shares together was in the very air we breathed and it definitely swept us off our feet. We are so grateful to be able to share in their story and be in their memory for years to come.
