Our wedding was the most magical event of our lives and it came off without a single hitch, which is honestly nothing short of miraculous. It was an absolute delight working with our wedding coordinator team at Avenue Blue KC. We opted to have the full-service package so they handled every detail from start to finish and that was the best decision we made because they knew all of the vendors and had the whole plan from start to finish. It was such a relief to have them handle all of the details because I did not worry about anything and so the day of the wedding I was calm, relaxed and focused on enjoying my special time with my favorite people. I knew that I could hand everything over to them and it would go according to plan and it went so smoothly and that feeling was priceless. I was so grateful for them and so impressed by them. What is even more incredulous is that Megan planned our wedding, the sale of her home and a family vacation / birthday celebration at Disneyworld all colliding in the same week and still the wedding went off flawlessly. I was overwhelmed with just the wedding - I do not know how she did it, but I know having a whole team working together is a huge advantage between working with them over another coordinator. They were 3 places at once and that was necessary!

The Avenue Blue ladies were absolutely invaluable to us before, during and after our wedding. Throughout the planning process, Megan was always available to answer my questions and talk through ideas with me. Working with her felt like texting a friend…she was patient and flexible, and genuinely invested in bringing my wedding goals to life. Originally, I was only looking for day-of coordination, as I was confident I could handle most of the wedding planning and vendor coordinationmyself. However, I’m so glad I had Avenue Blue to lean on for advice in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding. Handing my plans over to them alleviated so much stress and anxiety for me in those final days—I only wish I would havegiven them the reigns sooner.

The day before the wedding, the Avenue Blue team came to help decorate the venue and continued working even after we left to get ready for our rehearsal dinner. They were still therebeautifying the space when we returned hours later, and theymade sure our rehearsal went off without a hitch. I left behind abox of sentimental gifts that I had planned to give to my family that evening, and Megan went well out of her way to bring it to me at the rehearsal dinner. The Avenue Blue ladies went above and beyond that day, and I felt so confident going into my wedding day knowing that they had my back. The morning of our wedding, Avenue Blue was the first to arrive at the venue, receiving all the vendors, assisting with setup and ensuring everything was in order before the bridal party arrived. My videographer backed out last minute, but Megan and AshLeigh handled the situation gracefully, and I was blissfully unaware that there was an issue. Before the ceremony, I noticed another vendor had brought the wrong order. Before I could get upset, AshLeigh intervened and said “I got you—we’ll fix it” and within an hour the issue was resolved. No matter how smallthe detail, they listened to my concerns and made sure everything was exactly how I had envisioned it.

Throughout the ceremony and reception, the ladies were standing by to direct guests and vendors as needed, and the whole event could not have gone more seamlessly. If there were any issues during the reception, they never let me or my husbandknow about them. These ladies are the support system everyone needs on their wedding day. They shouldered so much so I didn’t have to.

Near the end of the reception, the Avenue Blue team waspacking up and cleaning so discreetly that the guests didn’t notice. My mom was so impressed with how quickly and efficiently they were able to load up all of my décor once the reception had ended. I was worried our families would get stuck doing all of the work at the end of the night, but the Avenue Blue girls had it handled. The venue owner even said it was one of the best clean-ups they had ever seen, and we were given our full deposit back.

Long story short, my wedding day was a perfectly imperfectdream thanks to the Avenue Blue team. The guests had a phenomenal time and everyone raved about how beautiful it was. My husband and I were able to fully immerse ourselves in the day without drama or stress. It was the experience every couple deserves, and I feel so grateful for the support these threewonderful ladies provided us. Put your trust and confidence in Avenue Blue—you will not regret it
